One of Frankie's favorites, he states, "I'm always open minded while always knowing what I like."

Measuring 40"x 40" on archival paper, there are a total of 10 in the edition. All are individually stamped with The Banali Estate stamp. Each is numbered and features the SceneFour initial. Work is shipped with Certificate of Authenticity.

Crafted over the last 6 months, Spirits I-VII showcases a unique visual side to the artistic legacy of Frankie Banali. Working with Sumi inks and Washi paper, Banali has focused an extraordinary amount of time crafting an unprecedented abstract approach that fuses the influences of traditional minimalism, abstract expressionism and Japanese brush stroke techniques into his own signature style.

"It's interesting that art teaches me so much about myself. Washi paper can be difficult and delicate to work with as is the Sumi ink because you have to execute the strokes rather rapidly dependent on the ink saturation in the brush. But truly, the paper is the foundation, the Sumi ink is the language, the brush is the vehicle, but the mind creates the art, the imagery, the emotion."
